Amy W. Pento has been recognized for her leadership, mentoring nearly one hundred students through the Seal of Biliteracy, and was chosen for the CNY Leadership Development Program. Beyond Liverpool, Amy has taught at Le Moyne College and presented at conferences such as LECNY, NECTFL, and NYSAFLT, where her work on The Writing Revolution was awarded Best of NYSAFLT in 2021. In her current role, she leads professional development on topics like teaching writing, classroom management, and Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction. Amy is also developing a writing companion for CKLA Grades K-2 based on The Writing Revolution strategies.
